Sitting at the airport waiting on my flight to go back to Florida. Just texted a friend and said to her, now that the holidays are over it’s a new level of … real. It’s amazing this journey of mine. I don’t want to come off as gloating, but I feel so blessed and thankful to be where I am. Can’t wait for the next steps.

For a while, and even now, IT hasn’t hit me. This trip, this fundraising, this journey. When I arrive home it will be a whole new season of my life.

Last season was school, work, church, getting acceptant to WR, accepting the acceptance, willingness to change my whole life, lots of prayer, telling my family and friends, and planning. It was so crazy and busy and how does one stop to think no less to be thankful.

This season will be work, church, friends and family, saving, fundraising, paying off bills and being with God on the daily.  I will not let this pass without soaking up every thankful moment. Even in the hard times. A season of reflection and planning.

I have no clue what He has planned for me but really …. It’s gonna be good.
