Hello supporter,

I hope you're doing well. I wanted to send you an update on my time here in Gainesville, Georgia. I have been participating in The Center for Global Action (CGA) program since January. CGA exists to mobilize a generation to be passionate followers of Jesus who live out their faith whether at home, professionally, or church planting overseas. I am living in close community with other believers and following CGA’s motto: know yourself, lead yourself, lead others.

One thing I have enjoyed was a teaching about the enneagram. We learned about the nine different human capacities included in the enneagram. Understanding these capacities helps me understand myself and classmates. I'm learning about how to walk in alignment with the Lord and what it looks like when I am not.

Through class teachings, I have been challenged to identify where I am spiritually. I want to use this processing time to establish good boundaries for myself and discover where the Lord is calling me next. It has been difficult to commit fully to this season, however I want to make the most of my last month here. I plan to use this intentional time of discipleship to equip me to live for Christ the rest of my life.

Every semester, CGA apprentices complete a capstone project. Capstone is an intentional arena to put into action all of the tools we have been given. This can look like a plethora of different mission opportunities, such as serving with disaster relief efforts or traveling abroad to work with nonprofit organizations. In order to receive funding from our organization our entire class needs to be fully funded by May 1. My class is 93% of the way funded.

I am intentionally reaching out to you to ask for financial support. I have currently raised $2,555 and need to raise $3,395 by the end of May. Sounds intimidating, huh? I know, I feel the same way. But I know the Lord has my back.  Would you prayerfully consider supporting me financially? And if you know anyone else interested in financially supporting the Kingdom, feel free to forward them this email!
